The Mamyia DSX and MSX cameras were introduced shortly after the XTL. Unlike the XTL they had an M42 thread, albeit modified to allow for TTL light metering with open apertures. The Mamiya DSX had a switchable spot/average metering system while the simplified MSX just had the common average metering.
